Our Midlands Business Intelligence Forum is a new platform designed to enable senior professionals to share ideas and compare notes on current and future trends and issues within the Information Management space.
A complimentary event organised by Harvey Nash, the forum will be an exclusive round-table discussion, graciously hosted by the Wesleyan Assurance Society in Central Birmingham.
Daniel Senter, the Head of Business Intelligence at Balfour Beatty, will be leading the debate across the evening. We have drawn up the following topics as initial points of conversation:
- Failure to communicate: Avoiding breakdowns in BI / Information reporting.
- Achieving sustainable BI: Achieve excellence through staff engagement and long term thinking.
- “With the well-publicised skills shortage within BI, would you consider taking on an apprentice with basic Business Intelligence skills?”
- ERP & enterprise BI: A recent Gartner report highlights the change from highly customised ERP to a vanilla ERP with bolt on plug and play solutions – but how do we manage the BI?
We invite everyone to come prepared with ideas, questions and a willingness to contribute.
Drinks and food will be provided and Harvey Nash is happy to accompany those wanting to carry on the debate to a suitable venue in Brindley Place.
