Title: Star Schema database primer
Synopsis: A session covering the core principles of the Star Schema database as required for decision support solutions and as the bedrock for Analysis Services cubes and the new Tabular model.

Bio: Has been working with SQL Server since 1991 and holds SQL Server MCSE: Data Platform and MCT. Currently working on a Data Warehouse in a large CI environemnt, including designing an ETL solution based on CDC technology.
Title: CDC, you can have your cake and eat it !
Synopsis: Change Data Capture, what is it, how does it work and more importantly what can I use it for? Geoff will be answering these questions and demonstrating just how to setup and use CDC in his session. Including the initilisation process, ETL and sliding window techniquies for making use of CDC within a BI context.
