Morris Novello
SQL Server Product Manager, Microsoft UK
Morris will take the SQLRelay audience on a journey across SQL Server 2012 new innovations
that span traditional boxed software, appliances, and cloud. Morris will address
some of the tough issues facing IT and dev organizations today; mission critical
SLAs that are simply expected, the explosion of data volumes with the need to enable
end-user insight, and the evolution into the cloud world. Both IT and developers
attendees will see technologies from SQL Server that help solve today’s growing
challenges.

Want to know more (part 1)?
I have no idea what you will be doing with SQL Server 2012 as there are so many
new features in the latest version. So after a short high level overview of the
new stuff we’ll dip into the things that you want to see in more detail, be that
the database engine, the new BI stuff, data warehousing and a bit of development.
The only technology I won’t be showing is PowerPoint as you’ve probably seen that
before.

SQL 2012 Distributed Replay
SQL Server Distributed Replay is a tool which can help remove the risk and uncertainty
of hardware consolidation and changes. Available as part of the SQL Server installation,
it goes beyond the capabilities of SQL Profiler to help simulate a more realistic
load.
