The fifth evening Surrey SQL Server community event, hosted in Farnham Surrey,
and supported by Coeo.
This event will cover contemporary technology topics for those using SQL Server
in 2012, as well as providing a chance to make and meet with SQL Server
community friends.
The event will have three main sessions, and a SQL Server news session at the
beginning of the evening:
Master Data Services (8.00-9.00pm)
Allan Mitchell MVP, Integration Director – Copper Blue Consulting
Allan is one of the leading SQL Server BI consultants in the world having
originally earned his MVP for his work in the fields of DTS and SSIS. However, Allan continues to evangelise as
well as deploy Microsoft’s current generation of data management services
including Master Data Services, Data Quality Services, StreamInsight, as well
as SSIS. We look forward to welcoming
him to Surrey and hearing more about Master Data Services.
SQL Server Chalk and Talk (7.15-8.00pm)

Shaun Beasley – SQL Server Senior Escalation Engineer - Microsoft
With two members of Microsoft's UK Customer Support and Service (CSS) team in attendance this interactive Q&A and Chalk and Talk session will aim to answer as many of your questions as we can.
Plan Guides - A newcomer's first session (6.30-6.50pm)
Richard Douglas - Quest Software
Richard will cover this performance tuning feature in SQL Server which allows the execution plan a query uses to be determined manually without needing to change the query's code.
