The fourth evening Surrey SQL Server community event, hosted in Farnham Surrey, and supported by Coeo.

This event will cover contemporary technology topics for those using SQL Server in 2011, as well as providing a chance to make and meet with SQL Server community friends.

The event will have three sessions, and a SQL Server news session at the beginning of the evening:

Deep Dive into AlwaysOn Availability Groups
Christian Bolton MCA/MCM/MVP, Technical Director - Coeo

In this session you’ll learn about the new High Availability feature coming in SQL Server Denali known as AlwaysOn Availability Groups and will see in-depth details and demos on the following topics:

-          Availability Groups
-          Multiple replicas
-          Readable replicas
-          Offloading backups to replicas

A deep dive into PowerShell (7.15-8.00pm)
