FIX: An unresolved deadlock occurs when a database is recovered in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP3.

FIX: An incorrect cardinality estimate is returned When you run a query in Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
FIX: "An SqlCeParameter with ParameterName '<Parameter Name>' is not contained by this SqlCeParameterCollection" error message when you use the .NET Compact Framework Data Provider for SQL Server Compact to access SQL Server Compact 3.5.
A SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services ROLAP query returns incorrect results.

In this session we will look at as many of the new features of SQL Server 2008 as possible. Focusing on development and the engine. So things like the Date data type, the MERGE statement, table valued parameters.

20:20 - 21:00 SQL Server 2008 - Discussion

This will be a more adhoc session where we can enjoy our pizza and discuss the earlier presentation. This will be a very interactive session and will be driven by the questions people have and the experiences they have had with SQL Server 2008
