Some thoughts - should it be threadable in some way? Show only those messages that relate to you? Do I allow HTML or keep pure text? (my preference is pure text so nobody can goof around with the formatting....). I've made it so the schema supports multiple 'conversations' so we can have 'rooms' for meetings/private stuff etc...
